“ The pastrami and the collards are a huge hit. Unfortunately for as good as those two items were, the mac and cheese and cornbread were equally as bad. That being said the collards are the best I've had in quite some time so I'm willing to overlook how bad the Mac was. The peanut butter explosion was also really good. Nice ratio of pb to chocolate, neither was overpowering. I'd definitely get it again. Next time I'll try the baked beans since I know that Mac ain't it lol. ”

“ Best BBQ in the tri state area. The ribs here are awesome. The selection is amazing and everything here is delicious. I've been here several times and every time I leave full and satisfied. There isn't a better BBQ place in New York. The BBQ sandwiches here are off the hook amazing. I had a Pulled Pork on a Brioche and it was delicious. It came with two sides and was very satisfying. One of the best meals I've had in my life. I also tried their Fried BBQ Chicken Legs and it was outstanding. I got a side of Blue Cheese and it was delicious too. I ate so much I forgot there was dessert. Next time for sure. ”
“ Service: Absolutely great service, excellent customer and very helpful. I had the pleasure of speaking with Andy and Paul during checkout and they were both very helpful. Ambiance: The decor was really nice and cozy. I loved all the different patches and pictures on the wall. Pretty cool. The place was clean and smelled like a bbq restaurant. Food: Excellent bbq food. I got the Sempre Sampler. Half pound brisket, ribs and pulled pork. All the meats were absolutely delicious. The sides we got was the sweet potato mash, side of massive fried, collard greens (need some Flavor) and the Mac and cheese (shoulda been better) Again the meats were on point and the sweet potato mash was excellent. However, the collard greens needed more flavor, maybe add some more turkey necks and some salt and pepper. Mac and cheese was not good, has potential though for a bbq place the Mac and cheese should be really good. Maybe revamp the Mac and cheese all together. I wanted to give five stars but the Mac and cheese/collard greens were questionable. I will definitely be back to try out everything else. The burgers look delicious. ”
“ Tried the pastrami sandwich with mustard and sides of collard greens and sweet potato fries. Generally good, although the sandwich felt like it had too much mustard, which made the bread a bit soggy and the sandwich a bit salty. I'd recommend mustard on the side. The sweet potato fries were very good. It looked like the collard greens came with meat, which I feel like should be made more clear during the ordering process. It was fine for me, but if it was pork, for example, there are many people who don't eat pork who would want to know. I'll try the brisket next time. ”
“ High quality BBQ don't come cheap. The menu prices match the quality of the BBQ and it is Worth it. The platters and meats are awesome but so are the sandwiches. “ This is where the locals go for their favorite BBQ. There were folks coming in for pick up, one after the other as we dined in and waited for our food. This was probably my third visit (could've sworn I reviewed this place before). The manager recognized my voice as we were seated and he commented. I called earlier asking if the dine in seating was open and if I needed a reservation. Onto the cue ... Ribs, brisket and pulled pork all in one platter. It was accompanied by two sides. That was a huge platter meant to be shared by two. We took leftovers home. The Brisket was just fatty enough for the taste and while my pieces were a bit lean, the sauce it is paired with completed the dish. I was here for that and the baked beans. Smokey, sweet and so yummy. The kids ordered Mac and Cheese and a burger deluxe. But this was not your regular burger. Besides the beef, they piled on pork belly to go with that patty. That was a meal and then some. The Mac for me was a little under seasoned but nothing a sprinkle of salt and pepper that couldn't fix. The dessert needs a mention - peanut butter explosion. It was decadent and perfect for the peanut butter lover. The mini chips on top was the icing on the cake, so good! Very casual spot, unpretentious and felt like I was in someone's home, getting an awesome home cooked meal. This is a local gem. Order ahead if picking up take out. It does take a little time to get things together. ”
